Elise Hackl-Blumstein is a passionate, strong-willed, and empathetic life-long learner residing in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Elise currently serves in administration as a student services coordinator in District 15. Previously, she spent eight years as the Accessible Music Teacher and accessible music resource extraordinaire for the Palatine School District, as well as an accessibility coach in the greater Midwest.
Elise recently obtained her Illinois Administration and Principal Certification ('22). She also holds a Master Music Education specializing in Special Music Education ('19), Master of Arts in Educational Technology Leadership ('17), and received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 2014. Graduating with honors from Illinois State University, she holds a Professional Educator License with endorsements in Special Education (Learning and Behavior Specialist), Choral Music, and General Music as well as a minor in Vocal Music. Her thesis projects in post-graduate work focused on the training of music educators in adaptive music programming.
Elise has found a way to incorporate her passions and interests into everyday life. When she is not in her full-time teaching position, she can be found providing comprehensive, accessible educational experiences for individuals of varied needs. Elise teaches private voice lessons, serves as an a cappella resource for groups all over the US, and is the Lead Teacher for Broadway Buddies through Big Deal Productions. During A Cappella season, Elise can be found producing one of the many competitions run through Varsity Vocals.
